Your memory is yours.

We collect what we need to run the service and nothing else. Your conversations and memory are yours — not training data for someone else's model. You can export or delete everything any time.

Account info: email, organization name (if provided), Slack/WhatsApp/Telegram identifiers if you connect those channels.

Usage info: the conversations you have with Alex, the memory profile you build, and basic product telemetry (page views, errors) to keep the service reliable.

Payment info: if you subscribe, Stripe handles card data — we only see the last 4 digits and billing status.

Run Alex for you: your memory + your conversations = the entire product.

Improve reliability: anonymized telemetry and aggregated product analytics.

Communicate: onboarding, billing, and product updates. You can opt out of non-essential email any time.

Train public foundation models on your data. Ever.

Sell your data. Ever.

Share memory or conversations with other users. Team plans share a single business profile by design — you opt into that sharing when you invite a teammate.

Primary region: US-East. Team and Company plans can request EU data residency.

Subprocessors: Anthropic (model provider), Stripe (payments), Clerk (auth), Resend (transactional email), Slack / Meta (WhatsApp) / Telegram for channel delivery.

Accounts: kept while active.

Conversations and memory: retained while your account is active, or longer if you ask us to (Enterprise only).

Deleted content: purged from live systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

Delete everything: Settings → Account → Delete. One click, no retention team.

Access, correct, export, or delete your data any time. GDPR / CCPA requests: privacy@getchiefofstaff.com. We'll respond within statutory windows.

Material changes to this policy will be posted here and emailed to active users at least 14 days before taking effect.
